Understanding Night Fall

What Is Night Fall?

Night fall, or nocturnal emission, is the release of semen during sleep, often with a sexual dream. It is a normal body process, especially in teenagers and young men, and it does not by itself mean any illness.

It becomes a concern when it is very frequent, when it is linked to anxiety, guilt or tiredness, or when it continues to trouble an adult in a way that affects daily life.

  • Long gaps between sexual activity
  • Anxiety, stress or preoccupation with sexual thoughts
  • Poor sleep patterns and irregular routines
  • Sometimes a general weakness or an infection that needs a doctor's assessment
The Homeopathic Approach

Clearing Myths and Planning Treatment

Many young men worry that night fall causes weakness or loss of "strength". Occasional night fall does not harm health. Much of the distress comes from myths and worry, and reassurance from a doctor is often the first and most helpful step.

Where night fall is frequent or troubling, homeopathic treatment is chosen for you as an individual after a private case history covering your sleep, stress, habits and general health. Please do not self-medicate; your doctor decides what suits you.
